Juliana Uwandu

CEO/Founder

Mrs. Juliana Uwandu is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of the WOFTHEL Foundation, a purpose-driven non-governmental organization committed to improving the lives of widows, orphans, vulnerable children, and the girl child through education, empowerment, and holistic support services.

Driven by compassion and a deep commitment to human development, Mrs. Uwandu established WOFTHEL Foundation to restore hope, dignity, and self-reliance among underserved populations. Under her leadership, the foundation delivers impactful programs in educational support, skills acquisition, women and youth empowerment, and psychosocial counseling, with a strong focus on sustainable community development.

Mrs. Uwandu holds academic training in Guidance and Counselling from the University of Abuja, a discipline that has significantly shaped her approach to leadership and service. Her background equips her with professional expertise in emotional support, life coaching, mentorship, and career guidance—skills that are central to WOFTHEL Foundation’s people-centered interventions.

Beyond her humanitarian work, Mrs. Juliana Uwandu is a Pastor in the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), where she serves faithfully in ministry. Her pastoral calling complements her professional and philanthropic pursuits, reflecting her passion for nurturing spiritual growth, emotional healing, and moral values within individuals and communities.

Mrs. Uwandu’s life and work are anchored on service, integrity, and faith. Through WOFTHEL Foundation, she continues to inspire transformation by empowering lives, strengthening families, and building pathways to a more inclusive and hopeful society.

Chris Uwandu

Chairman

Pastor Chris Uwandu is a faith-driven leader, administrator, and humanitarian who serves as the Chairman of Wofthel Foundation. He brings decades of experience in ministry, public service, and community development to the foundation’s mission of empowering lives and fostering sustainable social impact.

A native of Imo State, Nigeria, Pastor Uwandu is a retired public servant who served in various Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs) in different capacities, contributing to governance and public administration with integrity and professionalism. He holds a Diploma in Public Relations and Advertising from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, and a Postgraduate Diploma and Master’s degree in Public Administration from the Federal University of Technology, Akure.

In addition to his role at Wofthel Foundation, he is a senior pastor within the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), known for his compassionate leadership, sound biblical teaching, and commitment to integrity and ethical service.
